How to Join

FrozenForge is whitelisted, so there are a couple of quick steps before you can jump in – but it only takes a minute.

1. Register an account on this website

Create an account here and enter your exact Minecraft username when you sign up. This is what gets you added to the server whitelist, so make sure it’s spelled correctly.

• Java players: enter your Java username (3-16 letters, numbers and underscores).
• Bedrock players: tick the “I play on Bedrock” box and enter your Xbox gamertag – without any leading dot. Your name will show up in game with a dot in front of it.
• You’ll also confirm you are 13 or older.

2. Wait for approval

An admin reviews and approves new players – this usually doesn’t take long. Once you’re approved, you’re on the whitelist and ready to connect. Feel free to hop in Discord and say hello while you wait.

3. Connect to the server

Minecraft: Java Edition

Add a new server in your Multiplayer menu with the address:

mc.frozenforge.net

No port needed – just the address above.

Minecraft: Bedrock Edition (console, mobile, Windows)

Add a new server with:

• Server address: mc.frozenforge.net
• Port: 24480

Good to know before you join

• You’ll need a Microsoft/Mojang account in online mode – cracked/offline clients can’t connect.
• Want proximity voice chat in-game? Install the Simple Voice Chat mod for your client – it’s optional, but a lot of players use it. Voice chat is Java only: Bedrock players (phone, console, Windows app) can’t use it because it needs a client mod, so they can’t hear or be heard in voice. Text chat works for everyone. Voice chat is never recorded, and the server rules apply in voice too.
• Not sure if you’re approved yet, or having trouble connecting? Ask in Discord and someone will help you out.

Your first few minutes

• You spawn at the protected spawn area. Say hi to the Guide NPC – right-click it to open /rewards.
• Claim your one-time Welcome gift in /rewards, plus your daily reward.
• Protect your base: right-click two corners with a golden shovel to claim land. See the Server Features page for how claims, homes, jobs and skills work.
