These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of FrozenForge (the
“Service”), operated by Vortex Networks (“we,” “us,” or
“our”). By creating an account or otherwise using FrozenForge, you agree to
these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use FrozenForge. If you are under
18, you should have a parent or guardian’s permission to use the
Service. We do not knowingly collect information from children under
13, and will delete any account found to belong to a child under 13
upon discovery.

2. Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for
all activity that happens under your account, including any activity from
your linked Minecraft account. Tell us right away if you
think your account has been compromised. Don’t create an account using
false information, and don’t create multiple accounts to evade a ban or
suspension.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of everything you post to FrozenForge – forum posts,
comments, screenshots, and anything else you share. By posting
content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license
to host, store, display, and distribute that content solely for the
purpose of operating and providing the Service (for example, showing
your posts to other members, or displaying screenshots you share). This
license ends when you delete the content or your
account, except for copies already shared with others per your chosen
visibility settings, or as needed to comply with law.

You’re solely responsible for the content you post. By posting, you
confirm that you own it or have the necessary rights to share it, and
that it doesn’t violate anyone else’s rights or these Terms.

When you set your content visibility to public or share it with other users,
you authorize those users to view and interact with your content within
the interface of the Service. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, you do
not grant other users the right to download, redistribute, or
commercially exploit your work outside of FrozenForge.

4. Prohibited content and conduct

The following are never allowed on FrozenForge – on the forums, in
chat, or in-game – regardless of privacy
setting. Violating this
section results in content removal and may result in an immediate,
permanent ban:

• Illegal content of any kind, including content
  that violates applicable local, state, national, or international
  law.
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form.
  This is met with a zero-tolerance policy: immediate account
  termination and a report to the National Center for Missing &
  Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or law enforcement, as required by
  law.
• Pornographic or sexually explicit content,
  including AI-generated or drawn sexual content involving real or
  fictional minors, and non-consensual intimate imagery of real
  people.
• Content that infringes someone else’s copyright,
  trademark, or other intellectual property rights. See our
  DMCA section below for how rights holders can request removal.
• Harassment, hate speech, threats, or content that
  targets an individual or group based on race, ethnicity,
  national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual
  orientation, disability, or similar characteristics.
• Malware, exploits, cheats, or content designed to damage,
  disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any system, including
  the game server itself.
• Spam, including automated posting, scraping the
  Service without permission, or using the Service to advertise
  unrelated products or services.
• Data mining and scraping, including using automated
  systems, spiders, robots, or scraping tools to extract text, data, images,
  or user-posted content from the Service for any purpose – including the
  training of artificial intelligence or machine learning models – without
  explicit written permission from us and the respective content owners.
• Impersonating another person or entity in a
  misleading way.
• Evading a ban or suspension by creating a new
  account.

We reserve the right to remove any content, and suspend or terminate
any account, at our sole discretion – including content that’s
technically permitted by this list but that we determine is harmful,
abusive, or not in the spirit of the community, and including in cases
where we’re not able to explain our specific reasoning.

5. Copyright (DMCA) policy

Vortex Networks respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of FrozenForge to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond expeditiously to notices of alleged infringement that are reported to our Designated Copyright Agent.

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please submit a written notification containing the following information to our Designated Agent:

• A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest.
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
• Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and where it is located on the Service (e.g., exact URLs).
• Your contact information, including address, telephone number, and email address.
• A statement by you that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability.

Repeat Infringer Policy: In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, FrozenForge adopts a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to the Service and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.

6. Privacy

We collect the information needed to run the Service: your email
address, the content you post, your linked Minecraft username, and technical
information like IP addresses (used for security purposes such as login
attempt limiting). We don’t sell your personal information.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]
or using the built-in account deletion feature. We can suspend or terminate
your access at any time, with or without notice, for violating these
Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. We reserve the right
to refuse service to anyone for any reason.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

FrozenForge is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties
of any kind, express or implied. We don’t guarantee the Service will be
uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that content or in-game progress
will be preserved without loss.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vortex Networks
won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential
damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data,
content, or in-game progress.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Vortex Networks, its
affiliates, and its employees from and against any claims, liabilities,
damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or
in any way connected with your content, your use of the Service, or your
violation of these Terms.

11. Dispute resolution and class action waiver

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree that any legal proceedings
to resolve disputes will be conducted solely on an individual basis and not
in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material
changes, we’ll post the updated Terms here with a new “last updated”
date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you
accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma and the United States of America,
without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
